Meet Coach J-R
When I was living in New York City 2 years ago, I had a very stressful job and not much time. I had not been exercising on a regular basis and was missing it greatly. I was also tired of all my old routines. I wanted something new and I wanted to have fun so I could get my mind off all the stress I was under at that time.
Faithful as always, the Universe placed on my path the right person at the right time. So I met Coach J-R. His methods, very different from everything I had done before really tickled my curiosity. I asked him to help me get back into shape and explained to him I wanted to have fun, not too much pain in my muscles after the workouts but I still wanted fast and durable results.
I’ve exercised all my life. I tried all the classes available at the gym clubs, did weight training, running, dance classes, pilates and more. But for the first time, I really had fun doing what seemed very “not out of the ordinary†workouts. I never was bored doing the routines he gave me to do. Even though I was working out quite hard during the sessions, I hardly had muscles aches which was new to me since I had always been in the “no pain / no gain†game for years. He forced me to rest when I needed to. I must tell you, this was perfect. In less than 3 months, I was back into shape, my muscles were toned, I felt stronger and ready to conquer the world!.

May 2004. Yeah, that’s me! I was not in a good shape as you can see, I had done a lot of work on my compulsion over food but I had weight to loose and muscles to tone!
